21st Century campus focus of Academic Council May 15
At the May 15 meeting of the Academic Council, President John Hennessy will review Stanford's accomplishments of the past year and lead a panel discussion titled "Building the University Campus for the 21st Century."
The panel will discuss ways to build state-of-the-art research and residence facilities that employ sustainable practices and responsible land-use principles while maintaining Stanford's unique architectural sense of place.

In addition, Eamonn Callan, chair of the Senate of the Academic Council and the Pigott Family Professor in the School of Education, will present the senate's annual report.
The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. in Cubberley Auditorium. All are invited to attend.
