At Stanford, Danish newspaper editor calls for end to all 'blasphemy' laws

Flemming Rose, whose newspaper Jyllands-Posten in Denmark caused a worldwide furor over cartoons depicting Muhammad with a bomb, told a Cubberley Auditorium audience May 7 that so-called blasphemy laws, ostensibly on the books to protect religion, are actually being used to suppress free speech and should be repealed worldwide.
