Sandra Day O’Connor, a former associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and a Stanford alumna, discussed ranching and Western life Monday at the Red Barn with students and affiliates of the Bill Lane Center for the Study of the North American West. She was joined by history Professor David Kennedy, left. O’Connor was on campus as the inaugural Rathbun Visiting Fellow.
