Memorial planned Monday for Edmund Chang, geologist

The Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences invites the community to share in a celebration of the life and contributions of Edmund Chang, a consulting professor of geological and environmental sciences, who died on Nov. 12 in Beijing, China, of natural causes. He was 72.

The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, in the Hartley Conference Room in the Ruth Wattis Mitchell Earth Sciences Building.
