Mechanics of a pterosaur

Between 65- and 200-million years ago, pterosaurs (flying reptiles) populated the sky. But only a few days ago, a pterosaur (albeit a mechanical one) was spotted gliding along Serra Mall (albeit attached to the back of a pickup truck). The pre-flight test was being filmed by National Geographic as a part of a special program scheduled to air next year.
