A $15 deal to keep riders ahead of the curve (and out of the infirmary)
Stanford's Parking and Transportation Services is sponsoring a deal on bicycle helmets: $15 for a stylish but protective lid. Bike Program Coordinator Carolyn Helmke says it's a bargain, considering the live-saving benefits of a helmet in an accident. About 400 helmets are available -- first come, first served -- at the Campus Bike Shop on Salvatierra Walk.
