Stanford Medicine hits newsstands
The winter issue of the medical centers magazine Stanford Medicine is now available. This issue carries a letter from Dean Philip Pizzo, MD, discussing the Institute for Cancer/Stem Cell Biology and Medicine; articles about the gynecology departments unusual program that enables women to use cryogenics to defer motherhood; the quest of psychiatrist Rafael Pelayo, MD, to raise awareness of pediatric sleep disorders; the growing importance of clinical trials specialists, such as immunologist Mark Genovese, MD, and dermatologist Alexa Kimball, MD; and much more.
